Lunch oil center in Lafayette

Looking for a lunch spot around the hospital. I want something like a sandwich or something that can be eaten in a hospital room. Thanks.

Cafe Lola has some pretty good sandwiches, wraps, and a decent shrimp poboy.

Well they have a killer much every day, but it kind of changes. On Thursday, they wheel out this praline chicken that is literally one of the best things I've ever eaten. Killer salad bar, good soups, and all around good food. Big nice buffet. In and out for ~$15. Worth every penny, especially on Thursday.

Passed by Abacus a thousand times and never thought to try it out for lunch. Now that you tell me there is a reasonably healthy buffet, I think I'm game.

Yeah I think so as far as the restaurant/ buffet goes.
They started out and still do catering and receptions during evening hours. The lunch got added later

Yeah when I was working in Laffy, the boss man would come from Houston every Thursday.. And he always wanted to go to abacus. That praline chicken, plus crab and corn bisque and bread pudding will make your day.
