Tony Bordain's show has prompted me to want to look for a good "cajun" lunch somewhere west of BR.

I'm by myself and don't mind a bit of a drive. I'd just like to try something.

Is there a Red Lobster in Breaux Bridge?

Ok now I got choices I'm gonna freeze up and end up at Jack in the Box.

I just want something cheap and good. I'll stand up and eat in the parking lot if it's good!

30 minute drive from the bridge, give or take a few miles per hour.

Thanks for hookin me up Count!

Great recommendation.

I had a bloody mary and the Crawfish Sampler. Everything was very good.

Bloody Mary had cajun seasoning around the rim of the glass and was garnished with an olive, pickled green bean and pickled okra.

The hushpuppies were a bit chewy (I sort of like em that way) and some of the most flavorful I've ever had.
The Crawfish Bisque had a stuffed crawfish head that was really great.
The Etouffee was really good.

The fried crawfish were cooked to perfection but a little underseasoned. The reality is that fresh crawfish has very little flavor, but these were cooked very well. Not oily at all.

Here are some pics.
