Whatever happened to that? Is it coming out or what?

They (Tin Roof) have their blonde out, it's just not the LSU blonde. I had some a few weeks back. Not bad. Not groundbreaking, but what blonde ale is?

NCAA Licensing / LSU Board hold-ups... so it's out on tap just as Tin Roof Blonde but no LSU labeled cans or anything yet.

It's probably their best beer yet, as far as "to style" is concerned. It's a good blonde ale.

I really dig the NOLA blonde.

Don't mean to take anything away from it. I was just commenting on how the blonde ale style isn't conducive to the "Damn! That's the best beer I've ever had" category. When they're bad they're bad, but when they're good their meh, imo - in the grand scheme of things.

Exactly. I had it at the brewery 2 weeks ago. It's a very good blonde ale. But as someone else said, blonde ales don't really get my juices flowing.

Really looking forward to their black double IPA when it goes into production sometime next year.
