So can someone post some reviews on all the new juice that's been released or being released over the past few days.

Gnarly Barley Jucifer IPA
Urban South Modillion
Bayou Teche A Giant Hop for Mankind
Tin Roof Voodoo
Tin Roof DDH Juke Joint
Tin Roof NEIPA (saw it in the FBD thread)
NOLA Syncopation
Parish DH Envie to the nth power (we all know this is good)

For those that have had each, give a review. I picked up some Jucifer and Modillion and will try one of those tonight. FWIW, Modillion is very steep for a 4 pack ($14.99) compared to Jucifer 6 pack ($10.99).

Serious price gouging going on wherever you bought that from. Paid $10.99 at rouses last batch I believe.

Only had the first batch Modillion and it's great. Need to scope out the new batch.

Old pic for reference:

I had Tin Roof Voodoo Saturday which I think you mean by their NEIPA.
It's ok. Probably their best beer, which isn't saying much. It's basically a poor man's Envie.
Modillion is not that good.
Parish 4x Envie is their best beer imo. Very very good.

Loving this one. Will probably be even better in about a week.

Haven't had yet, but was brought a 4-pack and will try tonight.

Happy with this one. Not as juicy as Jucifer, but a solid step in the right direction. Will be happy to purchase regularly.

Tin Roof NEIPA (saw it in the FBD thread)
Tried a pint of the previous test batch. It was solid, but still needed some hop ratio tweaks. Will be interested to try the latest test batch tomorrow.

Haven't had any of the others.

I personally liked the DDH Radical Rye more than the Jucifer, but the Jucifer was still a solid beer.

4X Envie, best beer I have had in the state hands down.

Hoping to try these tomorrow and this weekend. Trading some Jucifer to a buddy for the Modillion.

You forgot DDH Holy Roller and regular Holy Roller.

Was this recently released?

Is this a new recipe or the same recipe as of a month or 2 ago?

I think I did as well... would have to try both again to make a more accurate determination.

Yep a few weekends ago at the brewery. I liked it a lot. Their Grapefruit Holy Roller was better than DDH in my opinion.

Jucifer is green and a little thin in the flavor department. Hopefully in a week it'll open up and that will address that. It's definitely a good beer, but I wouldn't say great.

Modillion is fine. Pretty unremarkable. You got gouged at that price. I was gonna go to Avenue to try Syncopation tonight, but I don't feel like getting out and about.

So this isn't a new batch? Picked it up from Calandro's, FWIW.

I was just going to come in here and ask if anyone has had anything from Tin Roof that they actually recommend? I've tried a few, and I disliked them all.

They're releasing their NEIPA this week. Voodoo is their pale.

It should be a new batch. There's a new batch at the brewery right now, I bought a 4-pack yesterday to try.

agreed

the turbo-rye was really good, but not being sold in stores so jucifer is the one in my fridge. i really like it, its not so damn bitter and piney/astringent as some of the other hoppy beers i've tried. easy drinking
