people stare at me like i know some kind of jedi-mind trick as i'm knocking them out in 1-2 seconds each while they sit and fiddle with *ONE* crawdad for at least 2 minutes trying to wrestle the mangled tail meat out.

its not even fair. i dont have to go for the big bugs right away because they'll still be in the pile when i get there.

Crawdad...LOL. I haven't ever heard any crawfish-eater call it a "crawdad" in my whole life.

Northern states call them crawdads or crayfish, but mostly crawdads.

I saw that too! I don't think I've ever had a muffaletta with lettuce & tomato.

It looked like parsley to me, but still--

Yeah, it probably would have been nice if someone showed them how to peel crawfish. One of the females was eating just the fat

How can grown adults not really figure that out? Have they never seen or eaten lobster either?

I agree, it doesn't seem that hard to figure out what part you're supposed to eat. That being said, I remember eating lobsters with my grandmother in New England before and she started picking apart the head and stuff telling me what parts (besides the tail and claws) were good to eat.

Goes back to my statement about people not wanting to play with their food. I've always thought of crawfish boils as a means of entertainment and getting a group together. Not necessarily, I'm going to go and fill my belly up.

I cant stand when people do shite like this and dont properly represent what they are promoting. And those dudes were pretty fricking weird. I really want to punch the feminine dude in the face. He was annoying as shite. The fat dudes clap after having gator

1. Muff had the wrong bread and had lettuce and tomato?
2.Gumbo looked and asian threw up some pre-made frozen store bought nonsense. And they gave them seafood gumbo
3. Gator I couldnt see very well.
4. I really dont understand them freaking out over crawfish as if it was going to eat their face off. It literally looks exactly like a miniature lobster.

I hate people. Jbeam I know you put this here just to aggravate me.

Yep. There is a difference in needing to be taught the peeling technique vs. acting like and idiot who thinks you bite into a shell. Unless you live under a rock, you've at least seen a lobster or shrimp or crab in your life and you know that you don't bite into their shells.

If this is one of those Buzzfeed videos (didn't watch), they all act like what they're eating is the creepiest thing on earth. There was one where they went to a UK McDonalds and freaked out over everything.

I think some of them have actually never seen crawfish before. It doesn't excuse the dramatized reaction. But, I have seen people act apprehensive about eating them.

Years ago my parents lived in Missouri and people thought it was strange that folks from the gulf would eat crawfish. They would tell my folks "We use them as bait."

I understand all of that, but to act like you have never seen anything remotely close to a crawfish is ridiculous.

Thats like loving redfish and freaking out over seeing a trout for the first time. It is still a fish. Just like crawfish resembles lobster, crabs, and so on.

Ya it's like they are all aspiring stand up comics or some shite and they just try to make everything this big fricking dramatic production, all while laughing at their own jokes. Very annoying
