Posted by notiger1997 on 6/16/15 at 4:08 pm00
Wanting to bring someone some pre-made meals and stuff so they don't have to spend much time cooking over the next few weeks.
What stores has some good stuff like this in an around Baton Rouge?

Whole Foods has various foods available.
Anthony's usually has lasagna and maybe a few other things.
Calvin's has roasted chicken and lots of sides. The crack chicken salad would be a gift to me.
I think Chef Don Bergeron has meals to go at his place.

There's that Modern Meals place. I've never been there, however.
Depending on how many people you are feeding, Costco has some good premade casseroles, pizzas and salads. Price is right too.
Calandro's has meatloaf, stuffed pork chops, stuffed bell peppers.
Chris' Specialty Meats has really good stuffed chickens. Those are about $15 and feed 2-3 people.

Calvin's.... chicken salad
This on one of those plates where the food won't touch and a bowl of gumbo to go with it, and GG would swoon.

There's a new place called Fresh Kitchen on Corporate Blvd. across from Towne Centre. It's where Louisiana Pizza Kitchen used to be located. Reviews have been good but I haven't tried it yet.

When my little girl was in the hospital I ate meals from fresh kitchen for breakfast and lunch. It is very good. Cuban pork, beef and broccoli, chicken stir fry, and turkey meatloaf were a few of the standouts. If you are looking for larger pans and sides, check out the deli at fresh market and whole foods, Chef Don Bergeron over on Jefferson also has meals. Also a big pan of lasagna from Anthony's never hurt anyone's feelings.

Beauregard Gallery & Market offers most of their menu in frozen to-go form as well as freshly cooked.

Fresh Kitchen is great! When I don't feel like cooking I go over there. There meals help with weight loss if anyone is looking for that. I love so many of their choices.
It's in the center, but not in the space LPK was. That's Smashburger.
