Looking to get something like this. It can be converted to a reg mini fridge when there is no keg present. I know as long as you have CO2 the beer should stay good for 2-3 months.

Ill have to buy a keg as well. Used to have one long ago. But lent it to a friend and you can prob guess the rest of the story.

Anyways...best place to get the kegs filled up in the BR area? I remember going to Albertsons back n the day dk if there are any other better alternatives these days.

That's the one I have. Very satisfied. You should be able to get your Keg from your local distributer. You will need 2-12volt fans. One to blow air into the tower and one to circulate air around kegerator itself to balance out temp.

LINK

You will also need a cleaning kit to clean your lines.

ok thanks for the info didnt know about the fans. I assume this is only for inside use? and probably could be used outside for a party? I know there are special ones you have to buy if you want to keep them outside all the time.

yes. You want to cool the tower or every time you pour a beer the little bit in the tower will be warm. warm=foam. So you will run the hose off the fan as far up in the tower as possible and just leave it running. The other one I sit on top of the keg and point the hose down to the bottom of the kegerator. This circulates the air so you have even temp from top to bottom.

Build a keezer. May come in less than that and you will have more than one tap. Plenty of info on homebrew forums on how to make them.

You have a keezer? I didn't realize you were such a beer nerd until Adam told me last night that you were trekking to Broussard.

Nice, the process doesn't seem bad based on the YouTube vids I've watched. Let me know how it turns out.

I'm hoping to start homebrewing soon, so I figure I'll want/need the keezer eventually.
