Looking to boil about 60 lbs. next Friday. I'm in New Orleans and most places around here are going for about $2.50lb. Anyone know of anyplace selling for cheaper in the area?

And by area I mean within about an hour or so drive...

Cheaper? You better keep your supplier a secret or they will sell out at $2.50/lb live right now.

Drive to Des Allemands or Paradis on the West Bank you might find cheaper there.

I know it's not bad, I'm just shopping around to see if there's a better price in the area. I'm fine with 2.50 but it doesn't hurt to look around...

if you're finding crawfish in new Orleans for this price, you may be the luckiest mofo in the city.

We got some at Kenny's in Slidell. Give them a call to see what they're going for. They were real nice size.

At $2.50 a pound, what would it take to make the hour or 2 round trip with time and gas?

That's the cheapest and best we've found over here. I'm east of Slidell, but that's our spot.

Please stop paying 5.99 a pound so the price can get to .99 a pound quicker, thanks

That is why I said might. The fishers come to docks in Des Allemands to off-load the bounty.
