Looking for a good italian meatball recipe

I normally just wing mine. Mix of pork veal and beef. Bread crumbs, egg, splash of milk, lots of Parmesan, fresh parsley, Italian seasoning, etc. Looking to try something new today. Also do you cook yours separately or cook in your sauce?

I've found not pre-searing the meatballs but just poaching in the sauce or gravy results in a more tender and lush meatball.
I like to mix bread (not crumbs), milk, garlic, and parsely for a few minutes before adding the rest.

Mine is similar to yours, but with garlic. I brown a little and then they simmer in the sauce. Might try skipping the browning next time, but mine are always good and moist. I use Vita Greco's recipe for the most part.

Ditch the bread crumbs and use bread soaked in water or milk. I give mine a quick pan fry before cooking.
Most important thing though is to not over work your meat. Spread it in a baking dish, spread your seasonings over it, and fold it a few times. Then gently form the meatballs.

Thanks for the ideas. Definitely going to use stale bread soaked in milk.
