I don't understand how anyone with access to fresh seafood would choose LJS.

For the record, I've never eaten there but I live in SELA.

You make it sound as if going to the market, cleaning, and cooking fresh seafood is as convenient as running through a drive through for a piece of fried cod.

My neighbor goes there on weekend mornings for their left-over crumbs for a hang-over cure, true story. I've tried them a couple of times and have sworn to never go back. Tasteless, full of grease yankee seafood, imo

You sure that wasn't Otter's Chicken ? I don't remember a LJS's in Laffy going all the way back to the early 70's.
