No, no one. The owner just keeps them all open because he has nothing else to do.

Nobody eats there. But he posts under a different name now I think. That leaves just me. Be he doesn't post at all unless it's as an alter.

The concept isn't that bad.. and a lot of small-to-mid size towns across rural America have no other seafood option.

I've never understood why they don't "lighten up" on the grease a little. I mean, wouldn't it be cheaper to use about a pound less grease per plank? And make it more palatable in the process?

We don't even have one, so it's Captain D's for us.

The closest one to Lafayette that I can remember was in Sulpher. Ate there a time or two driving to Tx. I remember it being not all that bad?

There was one in Lafayette. It was where the Whataburger on Pinhook is now.

I only go there when I am feeling cheap. Red lobster is my big night.

I unapologetically love Long John Silver's, but I only eat there about every two or three years. I think I love it because it reminds me of my grandparents....they lived in Missouri, and if you can imagine there aren't a whole lot of seafood options there, especially years ago when I'd visit them as a little kid. They always took us there. To this day, two fish planks and three chicken strips warms my heart.
