How has it been? Any shortages? Need to buy 3-4 sacks next weekend, and wondering if it will be a problem.

Last few years, they were kind of tough to come by (but, I was buying on Easter weekend).

Also what is the live price? I know y'all all "know a guy" who can get them for you for $1/lb, but what do people who don't know a guy pay?

Thanks,

Download The Crawfish App, it should give you a good starting point in Baton Rouge or Dallas.

I just looked, there are about 20 boiled vendors on the app in Dallas and 10 live vendors.

The app has about 100 in Houston and a handful in Austin too.

That place is usually pretty high. However, unless I'm buying 100+ lbs, I look for quality over price. They usually have a pretty nice crawfish.

Usually Tramonte throws cajun land seasoning in free when you buy a sack.
