Going to be making a trip to the area in a couple weeks for business. Only going to be there a night or two. Best one or two food joints in the area?

Yikes. I can't imagine there is anything there. It's between 6 Flags and Douglasville where Golden Corral is gourmet.

Maybe someone out in that area can chime in, but if you have transportation, venture into town.

I think I'd find a better area to stay in before I'd think about what I'm going to eat. If it was me I'd probably stay around the Galleria and just drive to that area each day.

Sounds like a crappy place. Glad it's only for a night or two.

Company is putting me up so don't really have an option on where I stay.

Doing a bit of research I found

Fred's BBQ
Beaver Creek Biscuit Company
Annie Maes

that seemed to have decent reviews. A quick search could give you others. I've not been to any, but perhaps asking around and you can get an idea whether these are any good. Otherwise there are a ton of chains.

I don't mind Cracker Barrel in a pinch. At least there is one of those out there. It really is a dead zone.
