Just curious about this. I usually use real fresh lemons but at Costco today I saw two bottles of lemon juice for $4.99 and wondered if anyone used bottled lemon juice for crawfish boils?

What say you?

I use the lemon juice from the bottle sometimes. Put it in when you cut the fire.

I blend up lemons into a pulp with lemon juice to get the blender going. Ends up looking like creamed corn. Then pour it over during soak

I usually use a whole sack of lemons. I'm also not sure that it adds much.

I've seen a youtube video of Sammy's doing their crawfish boil and I think they use a big liter bottle of lemon juice.

Neither - Lemon oil. Just a tablespoon makes a huuuuuge difference.

I used liquid bottles. You'd be squeezing lemons for an hour to make a difference with all that water.

There is no such thing as too much citrus in a crawfish boil

When lemons are in season, I get a shite ton of them and juice all of them. I then pour the juice into pint ziploc bags and freeze them.

When I boil throughout the year, I simply take out a bag and drop it in the boil. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
