Find out the delivery dates so you can get it as fresh as possible. Calvin's also carries Poupart's poboy loaves which are close to Leidenheimer's or as close as I've found. They'll tell you what days they get either breads in if you ask.

Years ago I went almost daily to a diner for lunch that should have been condemned with no inspection, just a look at the exterior. The folks that ran it made some bad-assed food and cold beers for your thirty minutes. It was the first place that I had a meatball po-boy at, no other place has ever lived up to that flavor.
