My wife and I wanted to try something different for brunch today and we wanted a place neither of us had been before. A couple of my friends told me about this place a month ago so we decided to try it out. It is in the same strip that Beef Obradys was in before it closed.
The place was very simple and clean. I wasnt really sure if we needed to be sat or go order first but the staff politely informed us how the place works. The menu was kind of different. It is a coffee and waffle bar. The waffle menu is broken into savory and sweet. My wife got the gingerbread waffle and I must admit that it was really good. I got the BBQ brisket waffle sandwhich and was very impressed. The waitress suggested it and she was spot on.
After we ate and visited for a while, the owner (without asking for it) brought out a sample of a pilot menu item. It was a turtle waffle. If I dont get anything else across to you, I want you to understand how good this was. It isnt on the menu yet but I am sure they will make it on request.
I have a couple of pics of the food we got and menu if anybody cares.
