I've had two people ask me this in the last three days. I haven't been in a few weeks, but has anyone heard news about this?

Just find it odd two separate conversations with different groups had this come up.

Great hamburgers, terrible service. I go once every 6 months when the memory of the burger makes me forget the service. Then I go and the service is so bad I swear it off for 6 more months.

Would like to see some new management take the place over.

Heard the same thing, I'm not going to shed a tear. Charred, burnt burgers, bad service...hopefully something good takes it place.

I heard the same thing. Something about the lease not being renewed so the owner of the building can open a restaurant.

Went a few weeks ago. Will go back when someone else takes over. It's bad service and bad food now

I went a couple times. It's overpriced to me for a burger and if you want fries its an upcharge.

Yeah, it's one of those places that time has sort of passed by and didn't really even leave anything like charm behind in its wake.

I have been once in the last four years (and can't remember any other time), and the burger was as plain and underwhelming as could be.

Used to be one of the best burgers in New Orleans. It's still a great burger, but has slipped a little the last few years.

The service has ALWAYS been slow. We used to joke about going there when you weren't hungry because you would be by the time the burger arrives.

I'd be sad to see it go, but it definitely could use a huge service upgrade.

Whatever it takes for their radio commercials to stop - "I want a big, juicy mouth-watering burgah and I wan't it now - let's go."

Makes me want to stay far away. Sounds like the guy already has a burgah in his mouth.

Last time I tried to eat there, we walked out after an hour with only getting our drinks and no food. They used to be good But frankly, screw them. Their service has been awful for a very long time. No one's food is that good, especially a burger

And yea, their radio ads are fricking terrible.

That guy voices a bunch of commercials and it always cracks me and my wife up.

He actually had a commercial for himself once. Apparently he produces commercials.

I noticed he is doing multiple commercials now (some Westbank restaurant too), but that Lakeview Harbor one is what made me pay attention.

It really grosses me out and makes me want to punch him for being a dick to whoever he is with at the moment.

Nobody wants to be dragged there against their will because he wants a juicy, mouth-watering burgah.

Who cares Fed? Go get your drinks and burgers at the Beach Corner (on Canal by the cemeteries).

Ate there last week, sat at the bar and had food within 20 minutes.

Decent burger. Like the baked potato option for a side.
