Spill the beans and clue me in. Someone made a nostalgia thread on the OT and it made me think of this restaurant. Used to go there probably twice a month growing up. Miss it.

I don't know about LaFonda's, but Carlos from Carlos' Mexican Restaurant, told me his was refried beans and some Queso dip mixed together and heated. It's delicious! I use a full can of the beans about 3/4 of a jar of Queso to keep it kind of thick.

Best bean dip in the state of LA belongs to Casa Garcia off Vets.
