Deli to get meat to go, or deli to dine in?

I think Milford's DT is kosher, but it's the dine in kind.

I just checked their facebook page and it is littered with pictures of bacon and ham, so I'm slightly doubting that it is kosher.

Has anybody eaten there? I can't satisfy my cravings for a true-to-form NY style Reuben in this town.

Looking at milfords website, it says "classic delicatessen" but then the first picture is avocado toast not sure those things go together

I was underwhelmed when I tried it. I'm not sure that any of the people who work there or run it are Jewish either (does that matter?)

I've yet to hear a good review, which is disappointing because corned beef and pastrami are two of my favorite foods.

None that I know of. I've been begging for one for years on this board.

I was excited when Milford's prominsed to be a jewish deli, but the menu looks like total crap.

We have a few places that do a Reuben: Twine, Jason's Deli, George's, Maxwell's.

but alas, no Kosher delis.

The Local in Denham has an excellent Reuben, and another variety made with their house-cured pastrami. Their sandwiches are some of the best I've ever eaten, anywhere.

Another place that recently opened is Iverstine Butcher on Perkins, but I've never been.

As long as the deli keeps kosher it is fine.

Great way to tell are operating hours on Fri/Sat. If they are open anytime sundown to sundown they are not kosher.

Came to say this. I ate here a couple of weeks ago and was pretty impressed. It doesn't compare to a true NY deli and it's NOT a deli, but they do their own meats and it's pretty good.

I've heard nothing but terrible things about their breakfast, but I've been a few times for lunch, and it's pretty good. Unless you're starving, you could probably split a Reuben with someone. The sandwiches they serve are huge.
