honestly, I've been underwhelmed the two times I've been. However, they have a nice bar and cocktail menu and a good atmosphere.

I had the steak(ribeye) last time and was not very impressed. Sorry that's all I got

Thanks. At least you replied!

Cannot believe you're the only person on this board who has eaten there.

The boudin balls are really good and the fish on the salt block was excellent

I haven't eaten there in quite some time but I do like sitting at the bar there and drinking.

ive been a few times. its nice atmosphere, excellent cocktails... but quality runs hot and cold.

the first time i went i had a rabbit dish i loved. was excited to go back for it and then ordered it again and it was a totally different experience. My gf had a similar run in with their rib eye -- one time excellent, and another time was really terribly cut and cooked wrong.

just an amusing anecdote -- one time someone ordered the pork nachos as an app thinking that itd be small-ish (pictured a few pieces of cracklin served up as individual chips done up with toppings based on the price and style of restaurant). the serving that came out couldve been an entree for two. just a mountain of food and super heavy. you would think the server would warn about that.

Hasn't it changed chefs a few times. One of them is at Cavan now, I think.

it has.

my last meal there was good, not great. priced reasonable for it being the quarter, the atmosphere, and the quality of food i got. but occasionally they will really send out a terrible dish by surprise.

I had some good cedar planked salmon there. Scallops and the duck breast were also very good.
