This is for everyone that owns a Big Green Egg, Big Steel Keg or any other Kamado grill that is similar.
This afternoon I prepped the Keg for grilling some burgers this evening. I wanted to use my new Kisk Ash Basket so I vacuumed out all of the ash and tiny pieces of lump. I kept the larger pieces of lump from the last cook and put them in the KAB.
Below is a picture of the KAB in the keg firebowl with the used lump.
Then I filled up the basket.
I like what I see here! The basket holds a good amount of lump which after cooled from tonights cook all I have to do is lift the basket and shake it over the garbage can and all of the ash will fa through reducing the amount that will fall through and clog air holes and the area below the fire bowl grate.
Another thing I like is the basket allows for a gap all the way around the lump to allow for good clean airflow.
I likey this thing!!!

If you order one please tell Chad(owner)that Nathan sent you.
