Thanks to all who recommended Don Jose's recently. My wife and I just had lunch there today. Very tasty food. My new favorite Mexican place.

I've also heard good things about El Gato Negro. I haven't had the chance to try for myself.

I remember back when you used to complain when anyone mentioned that place.

El Gato Negro.

I'm just not a fan of this. It's not bad. Not worth the hype.

This or is you want something grilled go to Pollos a la Brasa fiesta.

Georgia's is excellent.

I also like Fiesta Latina on Airline.

My favorite is still Casa Garcia. I know it is not in Kenner but it is just a few blocks away. Is there an El Gato Negro in Kenner now? I have always liked the other locations.

The bean dip alone is worth the trip.

I like Chilangos too. Not great, but good enough.

Casa Tequila on Williams is my go to. Small family owned restaurant that has been around for years.

We've been many times. Pretty solid place.
