What are your go to places?

What are your shite holes?

What are disappointments?

Basically for the true katy and far west folk. Suburbanites. No need for the Village and West U and Midtown folk to chime in. We know you have it better.

My go to. Probably WOB and Sammys.

shite hole. Einsteins. It's fun if you don't mind feeling dirty and your clothes smelling like arse. Also, Wild Wing Cafe. It really shouldn't be dirty but t is. It's just a wing joint.

Disappointments. Little Woodrow's out here is rough. The space it occupies was a hell hole bar. The crowd appears to have followed it. Also, Luckys Pub. We just got that and its in the same boat. Former dirty bar and the dirty crowd followed it.

Discuss....

Next Door is by Hungrys correct?

Cool place. Cool patio. Memorial is just so spotty. It's a great high end area but trash is all around. Every time I've been though it is fine. Happy hour type crowd. You can get food from Hungrys which is a plus.

Local Bar is nice. Gives you a second place to wander to if at Sammys.

QBar and Dukes are hardcore. I've been. I don't know your age, but when I was 38-39 Dukes made me feel like a whipper-snapper.

Growlers

Been there recently. It is a great idea. It's just dead all the time. Good food. For bar grub. But it is QUIET.

Man. How is that place? I've driven up to it. Thinking it would be like world of beer. I had my wife and kid with me. Just wanted a beer or two. WOB has kids all the time. That place did not look kid friendly.

They've got arcades and a nice couch section you could sit with your family. Best beer selection and service this side of town hands down. Their "rush" is 5p-8p and there are kids and infants in there all the time. What made it not look kid friendly from the outside?

Cool to know. Thanks.

To answer that question was the strip center it's in and the Windows were blacked out with shades or outright painted. I can't recall. Looked more like a BAR bar. Just the curb impression. I will be back.

I went to Bryant's (Wildcatters) after Bar Rescue. It's way too far out there. And I got nobody to wait on me. Lol. It was weird.

South Lands? How dirty is that place?
