Drinking a manmosa and smoking some beef short ribs... Short ribs are my new favorite.

Here's some previous cooks on the pit barrel...

And for good measure my favorite bourbon...

My favorite bourbon by far right now with Balcones second. I've been to the stillhouse a few times now and they are awesome dudes who treat you like family. If you're a veteran you'll fit right in there. A few of them fought in OEF/OIF.

All that looks great. Could I request a picture of breasts in the next edition?

Just came out and I held it for 30 minutes in a faux cambro prior to cutting.

That single barrel is awesome as well. Did the tour there last summer and they seem to be good people.

Side note for others... when they bottle they will let you come and help. Get a tasting every hour (if I remember correctly) and they give you a signed bottle and a tshirt afterwards.

Those beef ribs look amazing. How was the tenderness?

The pics look great! Been having my Pit Barrel Cooker for a little over a year and a half now-really enjoy cooking in it and the finished product. Hey Skule, would you happen to be in the Pit Barrel Nation group on Facebook - good group and we share lots of pics and recipes from our PBC cooks. Here are a few of my cook's....

I'm not a part of it, but I'll check it out. For Thanksgiving this year I smoked our Turkey. Everyone thought it was the best turkey they've ever had!

For sure check it out. I think you will enjoy it. I know exactly what you mean about the turkey - poultry turns out so moist from the PBC. I cooked one last Christmas for the In-laws and they requested another this year - lol... I also did a pork loin for New Year's - they cleaned it out as well - it was so moist and had a good smoke flavor.

Not yet. But, I'd like to try one in the PBC. I know Noah added a pork belly prep video on the website- looked awesome. A number of people on the FB Pit Barrel Nation page have cooked some and put up some pics and reviews - they all raved about it. I saw Costco carries them here locally, so one day I'll try it.
