I was in Lafayette today and pulled up for lunch. Apparently, they're permanently closed.

Now I have to find another place to get a decent cioppino.

Any love for Jolie's here?

Damn, really? It was good, but too close in menu, price, and food to Blue Dog. IMO

I enjoyed it. It had a really nice bar if you just wanted to go have a drink.

They wanted to focus all attention on the Blue Dog restaurant in Laffy and the new one in Lake Charles. Guess those are the biggest dough makers.

I liked that place. I bet they will honor the gift card elsewhere if you ask nicely. Too bad.

I liked the Cioppino at Jolie's also, but Chef Manny's Cioppino at Bread and Circus is better. I think they only serve it for dinner. You must try it. It won't disappoint.

I was also a fan of the cioppino at Jolie's and have been similarly disappointed by the closure. Thanks for letting us know Bread and Circus serves this dish. Too bad I only go there for lunch.

Carrabbas now has cioppino on the menu, and I had it recently. It was decent.

Closed on Valentine's day. Wife and I went on that Saturday night (2/13) and it wasn't very crowded. After dinner we tried to go get a drink or two at Ruffino's on the River and it was packedddd. Not sure why Jolie's didn't get more action.

La Rumba is moving in.

Looks like Deangelo's isn't the only one being taken over by Mexican.
