What does overrated mean? It is a popular restaurant that is liked by many people because of the unique food, location, taste, and atmosphere. All of those things make it popular. Overrated doesnt exist in a restaurant. It is what it is. You can say you personally dont like it, but this board loves to tell other people how they should feel about restaurants. That reeks of pretentiousness

Good God. That is the most LNCHBOX post of all time that didn't come from LNCHBOX.

Thought the food was great and the portions were very generous. Waitress was very helpful, esp when picking from the vast menu. We were seated up front near the window so flies were a problem but overall I didn't find the place dirty. Great experience overall, imo.

Started first with an old fashioned, made well with Maker's.

App, we went with their special...shrimp and alligator cheesecake. Glad we went with this cause it was great. That sauce was killer. Not pictured were garlic cornbread and their house salad. Both solid, esp that cornbread.

Entree was seared duck breast, cooked medium, and orange soy glaze, shiitake mushrooms, and pecans. Damn this was good, and a nice size breast. I chose sweet potato and greens for my sides. Very tasty.

All in all we had a great time. Two entrees, an app, and 2 drinks ran us around $80 before tax and tip. Would go again except get asked to be seated in the main dining room. The food was on point though.
