Transitioning into an event venue. This is Sue Zemanick of Gautreau's side project.

I guess there wasn't a big enough market for New York prices accompanied by Somalia-sized dishes. Still, it seemed pretty popular with a lot of girls I know.

The location sucks. Nothing is going to work there. Parking is terrible and not enough tables.

Well, it certainly has a sad history. But I think in this case Patrick frickmabucket's concept sort of sucked. I went once and never felt compelled to think about going back. I don't put this all on Sue. I'd rather she concentrate on doing her thing at Gautreau's.

Good line, but Somalia is nearly five times larger than Louisiana.

I was referring to the stereotype of starving Somalians, not geographical size

Never even tried Ivy, but heard enough meh reviews to stay away.

I love that spot, but it sure does seem cursed. I'm curious what kind of events they're planning on hosting there. Not sure how successful that will be.

the items I had were fine (a couple were excellent) but it was extremely expensive for food that couldn't feed a canary
