Is there a name for the piece of a chicken wing with the 2 bones?

I call it the flat.

ETA: I think we had a thread on this last year sometime. Some people call it the flap or flapper or the wingette.

same. i always get "all flaps." drumettes get sauce all over your face and they have that ligament.

I never understand why people eat those like the first guy. Its common sense to pull the bones apart, right?

I use that method a lot myself, but what they failed to mention in the video is that when you take the bones out, you often leave the gristle part behind as well, which is just fine and dandy with me. But the truth is it ain't always all meat.

Well I don't ever pull the bones completely out. I just separate them and eat the meat of each bone.

If I can get one bone out with minimal resistance and loss of meat, I eat the other bone similar ( but better) than a drum.



Can you imagine if we were the creatures being eaten and giants were discussing how they eat human arms and thighs.

Always called them flappers and use a similar but quicker method than the dude in the video to remove the meat from the bones.
