Fact posted here.
Hell, LPCC stockpiled the last of the 10YO...and some was auctioned off at BDCC for $1000 for 6 half gallons. Dont mess with out charter.
Had my last swig of 10YO during duck season this past season....it was damn good on that cold morning.

Thank ya. I'm not in BR, but I have people there.
ETA: My local folks got a small quantity in today. I shall be buying many of those bottles very shortly.

I was at Kroger at lunch looking for tamarind and palm sugar(fail) and totally forgot to check the liquor isles.

Believe it or not Trader Joes makes a solid bourbon. It's like $14. Obviously they don't make it but it is available in their stores.

If the grocery stores are getting it, maybe they're selling out quickly. Found 1 bottle at one and none at another.

Trader Joes single malt scotch isnt bad, tastes the same as Glenlivet o me

I've got a nice supply right now, but it still disappears pretty quickly from the shelves.

Old Charter was the only bourbon my grandmother would drink. She lived in Bordelonville, LA. Avoyelles Parish.

My grandfather who is 92 still wants a little OC and water every once in a while. He calls it a high ball.

Now it"s labeled Charter 8 rather than Charter 8 year old..fine print now says 8 seasons, which are 6 months. So cuurrent Charter 8 is 4 years old..Before long should change name to Charter infant for truth in labeling while adding flavoring to imitate aged Charter.
