Whole chicken after you take the crawfish out for the last time...heat it up good one more time and cut it off...let it sit while you eat, then pull out and debone. Sweet chicken salad next day...
Ya'll are stealing my recipe. Except no need to wait I slide it in a pantyhose, tie it in a knot and drop in as soon as the water boils. The chicken fat helps the crawfish peel or maybe I just think that.
Slab bacon same way then refrigerate, slice and cook the next day as normal.
Bacon towards the end for about 10 minutes or it will get too seasoned.
Radishes do well as do fresh beets.
