I think the OP was asking for interesting things, other than corn, taters and sausage

Hugo

I was going to suggest granny, but I've been catching a lot of flack lately so forget I suggested that.

Sure spices up the old girl though

I swear that's how these rednecks boil them. I've watched them do it.

So much fricking Tony's caked on them that your mouth gets the burning red ring around it and you can't even taste the crawfish.

It was enjoyable when my old roommate from Franklin showed these frickers up one day.

Whole garlic cloves, whole stick of butter, mushrooms. Not really interesting but about the only thing different from the standard corntaterssarsage

Aside from the crawfish, mushrooms are my favorite in a crawfish boil.

I boil edamame almost nightly with a tablespoon of liquid boil.
Amazing.

Told a guy boiling for Mardi Gras the aforementioned and he decided to throw them in on one of the last boils.

Came out great.

Corned beef - but don't do this on Good Friday. I got in trouble with the no meat people.

My little sick family always joked with her about having our maternal G'mom stuffed and made into a lamp.

FIL always throws a slab of meat in his after we are done. Throw it on the pit for 5-10 mins to singe. Typically its on a friday when we boil, so we usually just leave it for the next day.
