The classic McDonald's vs. McDowell's....

Unfortunately, I've never had In-N-Out burger. However, there is a place in Nashville called Burger Shack that specializes in "Cali style" burgers. The best I can offer you is some food porn pictures of their food. I know you aren't able to taste the food, but in your opinion, does the food resemble In-N-Out?

I really, really want a burger right now.....

I don't know. Looks like your average burger chain place to me you find in every city.

Maybe so. The reason I ask is because of the "Cali Style" / "Animal style" on the burgers and fries. Also, I have a friend from San Diego who drives out of her way to this place on the reg. It's in Nolensville, TN which really isn't convenient that convenient to Nashville.

Looks fine. I see no moral conundrum.

That's pretty much what In N Out does though. The sauce on the fries is definitely an In N Out thing, not sure if they originated it though.

Animal Sauce is Mac sauce. Is King sauce. Is Cane's sauce. It tastes good.

It's not as photogenic as In-n-out's burgers.

In-N-Out has skinny fresh cut fries. The burgers do look similar.

It looks identical to me. And as previous posters have mentioned, the french fries look better than INO. Those burgers look good. Guess I'm having burgers for lunch.

There exists boucoup In-N-Out's where I stay. I've had In-N-Out a few hundred time over the past decade. The burgers are enjoyable. The burgers you've depicted do strongly resemble the appearance of In-N-Out Double-Double Animal-Style instances.

Against the competition: In-N-Out's food quality is clearly superior to places like Wendy's or Carls Jr; and is several orders of magnitude better than BK or McShit. I say it's comparable to 5-Guys, but I give 5-Guys the edge as 5-Guys carries bacon and In-N-Out fails to offer it.
