consistently rated as the best steakhouse in the country

also, check out some of the pizza places. its been a while but i think Gino's east and Giardano's were 2 i went to. its different chicago style pizza but pretty good

skip the chicago style pizza. Go to Peace Brew Pub and Pizza. Far exceeds and chicago style stuff i have eaten. (It's NY style, and i hate chicago style )

also if you like beer, go to The Hop Leaf, and go see a Cubs game if they are in town. tickets are easy to get because they suck.

I've only been twice. We ate at Geno's East. It was worth it, I still remember it even though it has been like 20 years.

The Girl and the Goat, one of the best new restaurants in the country. James Beard award winner, I believe.

Carmen's Pizza out near Northwestern is a place my Dad and I had to go whenever we were in Chicago for the summer.

Easily the best steakhouse I've ever been to.

Good, but honestly I was expecting better. It may be that I prefer New York style pizza to Chicago style though.

as well as the Publican, Topolobampa, and Frontera Grill are great.

for Chicago style pizza, I have eaten Uno, Giordano and Lou Malnati's...thought all three were good and wouldn't have a problem returning to any of them.
