I think that each “type” of beer has its place. Hanging by the pool or tailgating at LSU all day is one kind of beer…but chillin at home in some peace and quiet while you figure out “life”…that’s another beer all together.

Most of the time, it's Modelo Especial or Corona for me.

Please no lime in the beer, it goes on top of the beer bottle. Most bars south of us used to be open air, many of them just hut on the beach. It is a habit of the bar tenders to put a slice of lime on top of the beer bottle to keep flies from landing there between sips.

Somehow someway the habit got Americanized to put the lime in the beer.

Nice job winning the Trying Too Hard Award for this week.

Next week though be sure and up the ante. Maybe post about how "real men don't cry" or "anyone who can't just have a McDonald's cheeseburger must be sum'kind a queer." You wouldn't want us to lose our sense of inferiority.

Let me guess straight from the bottle? Or are you an icy mug guy? I consumed many a pitcher of dos Equis at Chimes back in my glory days. Back when you could still smoke in there that is.

I'll take a Victoria with a lime any day of the week! Finer beer has its place, but if I'm going to be outside all day or marathon drinking, 'yard beer' works fine for me!
