I saw a Zaxby's sign on Hwy 30 in Gonzales today....I think

Has anyone else seen it? 
It was in front of a construction site next to one of the hotels near the Taco Bell and Burger King.

It's alright. Not as good as Canes in my opinion
I never thought I would miss Canes until I moved to Atlanta and only had Zaxbys as an option
Canes fingers are bigger, taste fresher and the sauce at zaxbys is nasty manufactured crap.

By the time it opens I won't be living in this area anymore. We had some Zaxby's in Atlanta last year. It was fine but nothing I would go out of my way for.

cbtullis, Google Guthrie's ... there's at least 2 of them in metro Atlanta that I know of.
It's the original place that both Zaxby's and Cane's ripped off, but Cane's is identical, so if that's what you miss, look up Guthrie's.

I prefer Cane's mainly because of the sauce but Zaxby's has a slightly bigger menu with other options. It's not that much different to be honest. Cane's sauce is definitely better with maybe Zaxby's having slightly better fingers? It's tomato, tomato.

I always remember seeing Zaxby's when I was younger before Cane's came out...then I go to Cane's, and it was almost deja vu
props to Todd for making it work though...he was able to capitalize on a region early on with a good product and price and idea...now he is able to make more money with his brand and lower quality and higher prices
long gone are the days of their box combo being exactly 5.50 or 6.00 and the caniac being exactly 7.00 or so

Zaxbys is nice in that they have a large menu but apples to apples in what each do serve definitely has Canes on top of Zaxbys.
Never had Guthries.
Bailys was first even in Baton Rouge. They should have focused on chicken fingers instead of drugs though.

Zaxby's has good salads. If you weigh 400 lbs are close to heart failure and shop at wal mart then maybe canes is for you
some of us like the healthy options
