Hunky Dory / Bernadine - Houston Heights should be opening soon

If you don't known, Hunky Dory is suppose to be a wood burning grill tavern with a large whiskey list, while Bernadine is suppose to be a modern spin on Gulf Coast fare with a top notch raw bar.
I'm looking forward to checking these two out. I cooked with the head chef of Bernadine once and he seems to have a creative take on things.
Any word on when they're opening, Houston people? Initially was suppose to be spring, but that obviously didn't pan out.

supposedly on track for a mid-september opening...i think.

I drove by yesterday and it looks like they still have a month or so of construction to go. Then throw in decorating, training, etc. and you're looking at October, maybe.
I'm excited about Bernadine's.
A new place called Southern Good's just had their soft opening right by there on 19th. I'm looking forward to checking that out too.

Of all the new Treadsack places that are opening soon, I'm most excited for Foreign Correspondents and Bernadine's.
If the Kipper Club ever starts doing dinners again and you've never been, also something worth checking out.
