How to Stuff Hamburgers?

I was thinking of mixing things up and doing some stuffed burgers this weekend. I'm not thinking anything fancy, just some blue cheese crumbles and chopped up bacon.
I've tried to do stuffed burgers before, though, and they never work. They instantly start falling apart. How do I get them to stay whole? Do I add a bunch of egg (binder)? Do I make the night before and put in the fridge to help them tighten up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No egg. Put in fridge. I do this with all of my burgers for at least an hour and they hold together. No need for an egg and that would give it a much different texture.

Yeah, I'd skip the egg. You could gently mix the bleu cheese crumbles into the meat the way Cork does her Feta burgers. It will melt better that way and you don't have to bother with stuffing.

$5-10 at most home wares stores.
(even walgreens has them)

I wouldn't use egg. I'm not a fan of stuffed bc many times stuffing results or can result in overcooked burgers bc the meat on each side is thinner. If using cheese, it should to be melted completely to be good. I'd mix the desired ingredients into the meat probably cutting it in using a fork to avoid over handling.

I've found you have to make them bigger than usual, and then really work the meat around the edges to make a good seal that won't fall apart. People like when I do them, but I honestly don't find them worth the hassle anymore.

If you're feeling energetic, go stuff a chicken. Leave the burgers alone.

I've stuffed burgers before, and just don't any more. If you're just doing bleu cheese and bacon, why stuff at all?
Cream cheese, I might stuff, but not bleu cheese.

For blue cheese and bacon, I'd melt the blue cheese atop the burger and put the bacon on top, as well. I like the texture of getting the crunch of bacon on the burger. I'm not a fan of soggy bacon in the middle of a burger. Grinding raw into the meat for flavor is fine.

putting bleu cheese and bacon inside the burger gives a great taste when topped with cheddar cheese. It makes for a really good burger.
All stuffed burgers have to be cooked past well done though, so there is that.
I prefer making it a stuffed burger when I do bleu cheese.

I make a blue cheese butter for steaks on occasion and it's darn good on top of a burger, as well.
