Getting fried fish, shrimp and fries for the game Saturday. How much of each should I buy per person. Mix of kids and adults. Google sucks. TIA.

Usually 6-8 ounces for an adult portion. With shrimp you can probably cut that.

I would probably factor 1-2 filets per children over 6 and 3-4 filets per adult. If its a crowd that's in the practice of eating fish I would go 5 per head.

I have a family of 4, when I fry fish and shrimp its normally 1lb of fish and 1 1/2 pounds of headless shrimp in the shell which is about 1 1/4 pounds of shrimp meat. We always have a little left over and that's after we make ourselves miserable.

How many total adults and kids?

when I fry fish and shrimp, the first batches get eaten up before anyone really makes a plate.

A family of 4? That works out to 4oz. of fish and depending on the count, 4-6 shrimp per person. If you guys have left overs and are miserable I'm thinking you folks have MASTERED portion control.
