How many pounds of live crawfish for 12 adults

Girlfriend is throwing me a crawfish boil. She says she is only getting 45 pounds for 12 people. How much is the proper amount per person? Thanks.

She is going to run out. She should get 2 sacks minimum, if you know you are talking about big eaters I would do 3 sacks.

If the crowd is half woman, 3 pounds per person might work. Other wise, the 4-5 pounds a person is a good go by.

Yep. Most places won't break sacks. So you just work within your options.
