It's been awhile since I've been. Is it still awesome in the new place? Didn't they sell to new owners? Is Omar still around?

No more Omar. I'd say in a blind taste test, you'd never notice the difference. Visiting isn't nearly the warm experience Omar brought, but the pie is still the same. Pretty sure it is the same ladies working in the back of the house.

I disagree. I think the quality has gone down since Omar left. My wife and I always used to notice how little grease was on Omar's pizzas but the last 2 times I've gone they've been greasy as hell.

My kids get it all the time and I pick up. Never had any reason to think they weren't friendly - I mean they don't come sit down like Omar did but have never been less than polite.

And I cannot tell the difference in the pies and prefer them to most any in BR for that style.

Got an update on Mr. Omar from my wife. She ate there Friday night and was talking to the young guy with the monotone voice. Told her he left and went back home before he was deported. Said that had he stayed he probably would have been jailed for tax reasons and such. Not sure where exactly "home" was but either way :(

Weird. Omar always told us that his pizzas were indeed greasy as a result of the high quality cheese he uses.

There was a Roma Pizza, LLC that was registered with the Secretary of State. It's sole officer was a guy by the name of Omar. SOS website shows that the license was revoked in February of 2015. Not sure who the owner is now but the pizza is still the same IMO.
