I like it. The shrimp poboy is really good. The tacklebox is a good value.

Best fastfood seafood out there. It can go toe to toe with a lot of local plate lunch fry houses. It's always solid.

Their butterflied shrimp used to be awesome, but it seems like last time I got them (been a while) they were a bit different. Still good though. Hard to beat Popeye's batter.

If you actually live in Nola it would be just as easy to go to a place like Bevi and get a fried shrimp poyboy.

The shrimp are not very big but that batter is really tasty.

It was my go-to when I wanted a shrimp poboy in North Louisiana.

While not anything special, it's still better than most everywhere up there.

Marilyn's Place in Shreveport is the only place on the I-20 corridor that can make a legit shrimp poboy.

Years ago I thought it was great. I tried one of the shrimp a couple weeks ago and it was terrible. It seems like they changed the supplier recently.

You think Nola fries seafood that much better than anywhere else? :rotflmao:

For fricks sake there are redneck restaurants all around this great land that can fry up seafood on par with that of the Miraculous Nola fry masters

Ehhhhh.... Depends how broad you make the corridor I guess. It's 20-25 minutes off the interstate, but the restaurant in Farmerville run by the guy from Cutoff has a pretty decent poboy.

I think it has to do more with the actual product than the frying technique

If the place has fresh seafood, the bread type you like ,then voila

You have a good poboy
