Will be in Houston on an upcoming weekend. Looking for a nice place to eat within walking distance of the Convention Center/Hilton Americas. Any suggestions.

The Grove overlooking Discovery Green is really good and across the street from George R. Brown convention center. Also, Vic and Anthony's is one of the best steakhouses in Houston and is right there as well. Can't go wrong with either.

Grove and Vic and Anthony's are good recs. I love the bone in ribeye at V&A

Also, Hearsay just opened a second location over there. I haven't been, but the other location is great.

Go to Phoenicia if you need a quick bite to eat.

Reserve 101 for whiskey and beer

For a quick lunch, look at Phoenicia. Good lunch specials.

Vic and Anthony's is RIGHT there.

But I'd advise the 5 minute cab ride to Reef. Trust me, it's worth it. Plus, the weather is shite. Take the cab.

District seven grill. Just past 59 on Hutchinson. Kobe beef burger will blow your mind.
