Houston - Midtown or Washington Recommendations

Looking for a decent place for an extended lunch around midtown or washington. Decent lunch and a few coacktails and maybe some master's coverage this afternoon.
I've done BlackFinn closer to downtown before. Any other worthwhile options?

Possible. Looking for something a bit more relaxed with tv's. BRC and whatever that Black Water place is across the street on Shepherd could work, just not enough tv's for more liking.

St. Danes is a good bar food/bar with tvs. It is on Elgin before it turns to Westheimer. Saint Danes

I went there Friday night. I was told that they will be serving Cask Conditioned again in the near future.
