Gents (and lady or two),

I was all prepped to get up early and drive in for the Hogs for a Cause tomorrow. But I got a text pic today of a thoroughly flooded event site and musings that the event may very well not happen despite the assurances on the website.

On my way out to Gallaghers 527 to see if the Northshore can represent or not. So...

Any chance someone can comment in the morning as to the Hogs site and whether it is on or not? I am shacking up in Mandeville tonight but want to avoid coming across the lake if it isn't happening. I know, I know that it's only a 40 min drive but something I want to avoid if I have the Big Head after a night out tonight. Take pity on a middle aged dude trying to pack it all into one weekend.

TIA for any comments tomorrow.

The weather is supposed to be fine tomorrow. Today's festivities were cancelled. It may be swampy out, but the show will go on.

Get your candy arse out there!!

On the news earlier they said that they are bringing out pumps to get rid of the some of the water. I know for Jazz Fest they use vacuum trucks to suck up the water.

You should come down, the sand in your vagina will help out the saturated ground.

You'll enjoy 527 if you have been to any Gallagher's places in the past. Bring your mud boots to the cause!

When's a good time to get out there? Will I miss out on the good stuff if I can't make it there until around 2?

It's gonna be muddy as hell tomorrow. I'll go and asses the situation and make a decision on site.

I just got back: I had a fun time.

It will be muddy tomorrow. They have some engineers from Tennessee pumping water to lower ground. They're doing the best they can.

Some areas will be high and dry tomorrow, others damp. I'm just going to show up, smile, drink bourbon and eat pork.

My old man is coming and he's 61. I'm sure he'll bitch.
