beer
Macaroni and cheese
ramen noodles
lots of frozen meals
Dish soap
shampoo
toothpaste
trash bags
canned chicken noodle soup for when you get sick

(also, ask for extra sauce things when you get fast food. put it in a big ziploc bag. You'll thank me later)

Browse food web sites and publications (there is an endless amount of choices out there). Find 2 recipes per week you think you would like. Buy everything you need on Sunday, cook meal 1 on Sunday and meal 2 on Thursday. Mix it up and keep an open mind, and stay away from canned, boxed, frozen and premade items as much as is possible and reasonable, and you'll do just fine.
