The thing I don't like about Cajun Claws (and I'm not sure if they changed but this was the way it was on my past visits) is that you have to go early in the afternoon and sign your name to reserve a seating. Then you come back later whenever time you're reserved for. So, unless you live in the local vicinity or are staying nearby, you're pretty much screwed. That's the main reason why I prefer Hawk's. Both have an excellent product.

It's still the same way. I actually don't mind it. I put my name down and go sit in the bar and drink a few beers, or drive to my in-laws (they live near there).

I've never been to Hawks, but Cajun Claws is my favorite.

Both garbage. You'd swear they were boiled in plain water. Meat is very clean but has no flavor, shells are sprinkled.

Best thing I had at CC was the dessert. Fried pistolette stuffed with vanilla ice cream and topped with Steen's

Went at like 5:30 and was told 2.5 hour wait. Dad and I drive to some other place and get oysters and watch UK-KU game. Go back 2hr15 min later. "Oh we called yalls name 40 min ago"
