Went by friends Bob's Dancing Pig Deli over here in Orlando and he told me about a new specialty sandwich on their menu.

Smoked Fish Dip Grilled Cheese(their fish dip is a mix of tuna and amberjack) and is very good with a great cayenne back burn. Mixed with a white cheddar pimento cheese and chopped tomato

Sounded like a weird combination I wasn't expecting much from, it was really good.

I guess if you want to call it that........I wouldn't but that's just me.

Smoked fish dip and tuna salad are quite different in my mind.

That sounds like something I need to try. I'm a huge fan of both smoked fish dip and pimento cheese. However I usually don't like cheese on my seafood sandwiches.

Don't know why but smoked fish isn't a big part of south LA cuisine.

Geaux I'm not sure why the fish dip isn't more popular back home. Admittedly, I really didn't eat/know much about it till I moved either.
