As I recover from my "medical event" of last year, it has been suggested that I eliminate or substantially reduce alcohol intake in order to help speed recovery. That damned brain cell thing.

I need some solid suggestions for a NA beer, sadly.

I've read good things about Clausthaler and Brewdog Nanny state NA.

Anyone tried either of these or have another suggestion?

Water?

Or make yourself some hop tea?

I've never tried a NA beer that didn't taste terrible.

agreed. if you cant drink beer, then why drink NA beer. At least drink something that taste good.

NA beer doesnt really taste that great and i find it to make you extremely bloated after 1 beer

Get some Odoulls, drink the neck down, add a twist of lemon and a shot of vodka.

Good point, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

You'd think with all the goofy different shite craft brewers are doing these days (and I'm not even saying that like it's a bad thing), there would be at least one or two taking a stab at this. I'm not aware of any that do, though.

Good luck.

if you want something resembling a NA drink.. i would lean towards making a mocktail like the pregnant girls do

or do tonic with a lime or lemon

Sorry to hear that, VOR. This won't affect my monthly checks, will it?

I've been told this one is good. Or maybe passable for beer.

The big question is what will you use to replace the shots ? Apple cider vinegar shots?

Because of having Liver disease and being tested for liver cancer twice a year I was advised back in 2004 a smart man would not touch Alcohol again.

I have to drink Non-Alcohol beer when and I recently tried the Buckler NA beer on our Carnival cruise in August. It is not bad. St.Pauls Girl also has a decent NA beer. Both can be purchased at Rouses in Covington.

I have tried the O'Doul's,Sharps and Coors NA beers.

I wasn't all that impressed with either but I would drink Sharp's if that was all I could find available.

Best NA beer is probably kombucha in all honesty

Most of it tastes like watered down beer but the St. Pauli N.A. actually has a little flavor. It is not too bad.
