It takes a lot more than knowing how to cook a brisket to be in business and I have a feeling if I was his partner I'd soon be looking to book the Robert Downy Jr. Suite at Betty Ford.

I disagree with you 99.9% of the time. You are spot on with that up ^.

Rob had a brick and mortar in Fat City.

Went to that iteration, and it was a strange, uncomfortable place. Like a dark, dingy, repurposed bar. On one visit, he was behind the bar, arguing with the (landlord? Manager?)....he never cracked a smile, never made any attempt at hospitality. No thanks---would rather patronize a business where the owner actually likes the customers.

I think he likes the customers and is truly happy with the support. He just likes to play the role of tortured genius. Guess he figures it fits the style of all his hard work.

Chances NOLA Smokehouse magically reopens next week because a "silent investor" came through?

Just don't believe a thing Ole Rob says.
