Didn't see this posted and it must have completely flown by my radar because I was in for a surprise after walking down to get an Eggplant Terry for lunch today.
That was my favorite spot for a cheap lunch, but the new place opening has potential.

We’re going to still have some of the old favorites of Harrington’s and do some new things, like a have a little Asian flare to the menu.”

The restaurant is expected to open later this summer. And when it does, the restaurant will serve both breakfast and lunch. It also will be open nights and weekends too

I used to eat st Harrington's a lot when I worked downtown. That sucks they're closing

It was easily the best lunch spot downtown

What is the place with the woman chef down there? And how is it doing?

Chef Celeste's Bistro in the Main Street Market? I don't know necessarily how they're doing, but the food there has been hit or miss for me.
I'm surprised about Harrington's. Place was slammed at lunch every day.

Harrington's carrot souffle Sad to see that place go. It was my favorite lunch spot downtown.

Same ownership, similar menu, slightly different concept. This is more of a renovation than an "out of business".
If they can make some good Asian dishes, it would be very welcome downtown. The only Chinese food in the area is in the Main Street Market, and it's gross.

So Craig is still owner but he's giving up some control of the day to day operations??

It's glorified mall Chinese, but I wouldn't say its gross.

I wish it was as tasty as mall chinese. That's some of the worst American Chinese food I've ever tasted, borderline inedible.

Different ownership but Craig and Lacey are still transitioning business. They have other business interests and chose between several suitors to pick the best family to carry forward. So far the reviews have been very positive. 1st day of reopening was a success

Is there a menu online yet? I can't find their website at all other than facebook.

Went for an early lunch today. They're only doing daily specials right now but they'll have a full menu next week.
I gotta say it was pretty damn good, but some of my old favorites didn't make the cut on the new menu. RIP eggplant dishes.

I know Asians love cajun food but it seems kinda weird to mix traditional dishes from both in the same restaurant.
